Community Improvement Project

Project Details

C&S were appointed to carry out the works on behalf of a local housing association. The works took place out with the communal areas, as part of the community improvement project.

The works C&S carried out comprised of :

• Manufacture and installation of metal fencing and gates to communal areas including close entrances and communal parks
• Manufacture and installation of new DDA compliant handrails
• Manufacture and installation of new crash barriers throughout the estate
• Groundworks including footpaths, communal areas
• Refurbishment of drying areas to backcourts including slabbing and poles
• Landscaping work involving tree removal and pruning and general tidy up throughout the full estate of Toryglen
• External wall repairs, including removal of unsafe retaining walls and rebuild
• Joinery work- erecting pergola bin stores and installation of timber fencing
• Decoration of new and existing timber fencing throughout the estate
• Full fly tipping clean-up of estate
• Removal and renewal of External wall insulation systems (EWI) to selected properties
• Full fly tipping clean-up of estate
