Project Details
C&S were appointed main contractor to rectify breaches found within fire risk assessments to schools for a local authority. On this project we carried out multiple fire-stopping works. These measures were essential for enhancing the fire resistance of the structure and enabling safe evacuation in the event of a fire.
The works were completed across the ground, first, second, and third floors.
C&S carried out a variety of works including:
- Disconnection and removal of M&E Services
- Removal of suspended ceilings
- Asbestos removal works
- Installation new fire blankets
- Passive fire works
- Encapsulation of steel beams
- Reinstatement of M&E
- New ceilings
