Project Details
C&S were appointed main contractor after two successful tenders to carry out the large scale of remodelling externally and internally refurbishment works of the flagship Youth Hostel Rowardennan and to Braemar Youth Hostel located in extensive grounds in the heart of Cairngorms National Park.
These works seen the extensive remodelling of the ground and first floor, developing a large open plan reception, new drying room, laundry facilities and upgraded catering and self-catering kitchens. Re-decoration throughout the full hostels including the private rooms and shared dorm accommodation. Works to the external building fabric and roof improvements were also carried out.
